But you can always fry them lightly after they have boiled (with onion). Final step after eating...curl up in a small ball in a safe corner, under a staircase, and wait for Spring.

Oh I loved that, thank you rosie : ) The frying sounds like a nice touch. I must think about making these - but maybe not 100. (I see they don't know how to spell it either)
letout, I usually fill them with mashed potato and chedder cheese and onion. Fry in butter after boiling and serve with a dollop of creme fraiche....I never make more than thirty...because they are good cold too.
