Myra: It surprised me too until I realised that there probably wasn't much concept of "traffic" as we think about it and I guess trams and horses and carts didn't go terribly fast. Mind you, people here in Spain don't pay much attention to traffic either but they do get squished quite often.

Wherever it is - it's lovely. Some grand old houses there, especially towards the end.
I'm surprised at the number of people who kept running backwards and forwards over the tram tracks. No one cared about OH&S back then did they?
